Watermelon Pizza | Recipe | Slimming World friendly

watermelon pizza | Snack time recipe

Today I am sharing this delicious watermelon pizza Jodie and I threw together on our latest afternoon tea party!

I tend to make the most gorgeous things when I spend time with Jodie, we have so much fun pinning ideas, making up recipes then putting them together. It’s really nice to have a friend nearby (we live next door!) to do that with.

On this occasion we made this gorgeous fruity companion for our little tea party and I just had to take the opportunity to share it with you all.

Yesterday @i_squat_for_pizza and I had another one of our little tea parties and we made watermelon pizza!! It was amazing 😍😍

It looks incredible doesn’t it? Well here’s the good news, it was blooming lovely, even our kids were excited to try it and even came back wanting more!

The best part of it all was that it was so quick and easy to make. This is a 5 minute job, which when you are a busy Mum and blogger is perfect to fit in this half term week.

So want to know what’s on this baby? Here we go..

  • For the base we have used a watermelon slice cut into quarters
  • The fruit alternative to the ‘cheese’ is a vanilla Mullerlight yogurt! (You could use any though!)
  • Then we simply topped it with some, blueberries, grapes, kiwi, strawberry and pomegranate. You could go crazy with this using any fruit you wanted. The options are endless.

Hey pesto your watermelon pizza is done! This would be perfect for BBQ season as a dessert or if like me you like to go have some afternoon tea with your friends, it’s definitely a showstopper and is easy peasy to make. Winner!

For those of you following Slimming World this would be free. Plus watermelon helps that water intake!

What do you think of our fruity watermelon pizza ?
